The numbers on PC worldwide shipments have been announced by the IDC more or less in line with expectations (-7.6% for the quarter):
There are a few interesting points:
- Lenovo, Dell and HP are the only ones with any positive momentum (albeit marginal).
- Acer and Asus are in free fall.
- Apple Mac is down significantly in the US.
