For the first time ever, Microsoft HoloLens seamlessly blends high-definition holograms with your real world. Holograms will improve the way you do things every day, and enable you to do things you've never done before.
The initial hands on reports are pretty impressive but I must admit there is a part of me that remembers all the Kinect love from the press and while initially I absolutely loved the Kinect several months later it was rarely used in the house. For me critical pieces of machine interactions cannot afford to work at a rate of 98%. While this sounds like a high success rate, it becomes frustrating at a near subconscious level and slowly but surely my response was to devolve to a more reliable input device (the Xbox controller). With all that said I cannot help be a little interested in trying this device out!
