I know I have already blogged about corporate data protection and one easy thing companies can do to protect user data. However, I thought it prudent to include information about protecting personal data. I unfortunately was the victim of identity theft a couple of years back, I thought that I was fine as I have been shredding my information for several years before then. The numbers on identity theft in the US are quite astounding.
Anyway's this is a neat Fact Finder from MSNBC, it lists things you can do to protect personal data. This is a very lucrative business for the bad guys so it is important that you know as much as possible!
