I thought when the Window’s console got transparency my life was complete.
Well there is so much coming, I am genuinely excited for the upcoming release of Windows Terminal. It includes many of the features the community has requested including support for tabs, rich text, globalization, configurability, theming, styling, and more.
But why is this important? Why now?
Microsoft has developed a custom Linux kernel which will be included as part of future Windows 10 builds. That kernel provides the basis for the Windows new Subsystem for Linux (WSL) feature (I know amazing right!!!!). So the timing for such a terminal is providential and appropriate.
This is exciting for many reasons, I thought this video was over the top and outstanding!
